A Dutch band from Rotterdam known for our energetic ska and rocksteady music, inspired by jamaican music from the 1960s and 1970s. We play a vibrant mix of ska, rocksteady, and early reggae, drawing inspiration from legendary artists such as Don Drummond, Prince Buster, The Slackers, and Toots & The Maytals.
Our sound is characterized by powerful brass sections, raw organ melodies, and multi-part vocal harmonies, all supported by a tight rhythm section. We aim to create an engaging atmosphere at their performances, treating each show as if it were our last..Since our start in 2014, we have performed at various festivals and venues, including Zwarte Cross, Wildeburg and De Melkweg. We are well known for our lively performances that get audiences dancing and enjoying our music.

We released our first full-fledged EP titled “It’s Detonation Time With…”, which features five energetic tracks that showcase our unique style. Notable songs include “Big Foot Joe,” which embodies the playful spirit of ska, and “Peenie Wallie,” a romantic tune that reflects our versatility. Our first album, “Reggae Boomshot,” received positive reviews during the COVID-19 pandemic, further establishing our presence in the Dutch ska scene.Â
